A meristem is the part of a plant where new growth begins. The small, active tissue everything else unfolds from. We named the company after it because that is how we see the buildings we work with: not finished, and not finished with, but ready to begin again.
Across Greater London there are offices, shops and workspaces that have quietly fallen out of use. We turn them into homes.
Regeneration over demolition
Converting what already stands is faster, less wasteful and kinder to a place than tearing it down to start over. Most of the structure is already there. Our job is to see the home inside it.
A considered eye
Every building is judged on its own terms, light, layout, location, and what the area around it actually needs. We're interested in homes people want to live in, not the maximum number of units we can squeeze in.
